Water parks MYW vs. AP??

Still trying to crunch numbers here. I'll be getting an annual pass so I can get the DDE. All others in family will be getting the 10 day with water parks which usually equals 15 days for us as we go to DD for those nights. If I get a regular AP is there any problem with me using water park days off of my MYW noexpir ticket from last year? Wouldn't think there would be but with the finger scans I'm not sure if they allow two active tickets with the same scan.

Shouldn't be a problem. I do not think Disney does any kind of "fingerscan matching". AFAIK, they only associate the scan with a particular ticket.

Further, I can't imagine why they would even care which ticket you use for admission, as long as it is a valid ticket. FWIW, I've used plus options on old hopper tickets on trips where I use an AP for admission and I can't see any difference to using the options on a MYW ticket with an AP.
