We are going last week of July through the first week of August. I've heard that the water parks can reach full capacity, so I was wondering what all of your experiences have been. How long do you have to wait for the slides and such? TIA!!

I went to Blizzard Beach last August. You have to get there when the park first opens. It reaches capacity very fast.

The lines were kind of long. I skipped a couple of slides because the waiting time was 1 hour and it was just to hot to wait that long. For most of the day I stayed in the water and just cooled off.

Also, you had to wait at the exits and entrances at the Lazy River because there were no tubes available.

However, after you get your tube and hang in the lazy river for a while, it is worth it.

When we are in WDW in summer months and go to the water parks, we usually go early as we learned in the past, on a hot day they will usually reach capacity. We usually encounter longer lines on hot summer days but nothing too bad.

last july we went to blizzard beach for the first time. you absolutly have to be there early. as early as possible. preferably at opening. this way you can secure a good spot to place your belongings and you really dont have to deal with many long lines. but as with the parks as the day drag on the lines get longer. it is amazing that in the morning there are quite a few tubes in the way in the lazy river but around lunch time they are all gone and the lazy river is now a sea of bodies.

get there at opening and you will be able to enjoy everything you want to and then you can just relax on hte beach later on in the day.
