We're going October 1-8, will it be warm enough to swim and do any of the water parks? I'm hesitant to book tickets to any of the water parks because I dont want us to freeze :0)

We were there last year at that time and it was HOT it was in the 90's most days. You should be fine

Yes, even the week after Thanksgiving last year it was hot enough to swim, and I don't swim when it is cool.

Also, you can go to weather.com and check average temps for the area for any time of the year.

Absolutely warm enough to swim. It will be quite hot and humid still in early October.

We also did the waterparks during our mid-November trip and it was plenty warm then.

My kids still swim on our Dec. trips!! October for us has always been hot and humid. The only thing you might have to worry about is afternoon thunderstorms.
We will be there the same time as you.
