This is DW,DD & my first time away from any snow and/or
noreaster....ever! Wow, summer weather in February...go figure!
So, anyway...as far as the water parks are concerned...
what was your experiences during "Presidents Week" or
around that time in Walt Disney World like?
Was it worth going over to either one?
Thank you all!

I'm not speaking from actual experience but thought I'd share a comment a friend made just last week. She usually goes to WDW over President's Week with her family. (Two years ago I set her up with my points and she joined DVC while down there.)

This year she is going during the April break. Just last week she commented one reason for the change was to go to the water parks. She commented that they've hit cooler/chilly weather many days in February. I think that's the key. If you get nice warm weather in February head to the water parks (of course that'll up the crowds). In cooler weather it's just not as pleasant to spend a long time at the water park.

We visited Blizzard Beach last President's Week. It was 85 and sunny all week long, so the weather thing will really depend on well, the weather. You just can't predict what will happen. The day after we left, it poured rain for two or three straight days and was quite chilly.

Yes, TL is closed for next week. Interesting that it was also closed last year for President's Week. I always thought they tried to alternate closings year to year. Oh Well!

I did see that WDW is keeping the water temp a bit cooler than they had been before, I don't know how this will effect the water parks, but I don't like it for the resort pools at all! DH is going to have a fit!

We've gone presidents week (or a feb week) for the last 5 years. I think we've been able to do a water park 3 out of 5. My personal rule is temps must be close to 80 for me to feel comfortable, although I've gone a couple times when it's mid 70's. They heat the water (somewhat) but when you get out and it's only 70, it feels cold. The thing to remember, is if there's a warm day, GO! Don't put it off or allow a previously scheduled itineray to stop you. You may not get another chance.
