Water parks and Disney Quest solo?

Just wondering if you have done the WP or DQ solo...what was your experience...any advice about doing them solo?

I will have an AP (without the WP/DQ, but might consider upgrading mine in order to go...not sure if i should just stick to the parks or check out DQ/WP)

I feel very at ease when I'm solo at the water parks, since most groups split up to do different things depending on age and comfort level with the more thrilling attractions. Most slides are individual anyway, and it's peaceful to float on the lazy river in solitude.

Great point...thanks...will still have to think about it a little...debating between that and going on the Keys to the Kingdom tour...

I haven't done Disney Quest yet. However, I have done TL and BB solo before. It was a very nice experience. I rented a locker because I didn't feel comfortable about leaving my valuables on a beach chair unattended (like my keys, credit cards, phone, etc.).

As hotblooded mentioned, many of the rides can be done on your own. The exceptions would be the family raft rides - Gang Plank Falls (TL) and Teamboat Springs (BB). However, the cast members are very accommodating and will team you up with a family or another party so you don't have to be in a huge raft by yourself.

The water parks are a nice place to relax and worth visiting at least once.

I did DQ solo a few years ago. It was pretty fun. I tend to zone out when I play the old school arcade games so that didn't bother me. I did the build your own roller coaster thing (which honestly is my favorite thing and could do it all day), but it was a little odd for me to do the Pirates of the Carribean thing. I was with a very nice family but since it was supposed to be kind of interactive, I felt out of place. It was different than going on rides by myself.
