Water park tickets - will call?

I posted last week about what type of tix to get for the water parks - one day pass or WP&M. I decided on the one day pass, and went online to get them, and it looks like I will have to pick them up at will call because they won't be sent out in time to get by mail (We leave June 13). I'm confused though...these tickets won't link to my magic bands? I'm kind of bummed we will still have to wait in the ticket line when we arrive. Thinking about just waiting and buying tix at the gate if we have to wait in line anyway.
We are staying at POR June 17-19, and then will go back to the water parks from our beach condo sometime the next week. Can we still use our magic bands to charge food/drinks at the water park?

I'm not exactly sure how it works. I believe they have magic band scanners at the water parks. Did you receive a confirmation number for the tickets you purchased? IN the case of park tickets, you can link them to your MDE via the confirmation number. All magic bands do is serve as a link to your MDE, including your room reservation. If you put charging privileges on your magic band at the time of checkin, then you will definitely be able to use your magic band to charge at the water parks

Sorry I couldn't really answer your question. Haven't been to a waterpark since they added the MBs.

I didn't buy them yet, I was surprised at the will call so I decided to wait! I bet you are right - I bet I will get confirmation number and I can link them that way. Maybe I will just call and purchase them on the phone so I can find out for sure if that will work and eliminate a stop at the ticket sales counter.

I totally would recommend purchasing over the phones. I love being able to ask questions in real-time. That's how I found out about the confirmation number linking thing Oh, I think you can only charge on the magic band if you are staying at a resort. It doesn't actually charge the card, it charges to the room's bill.

You can only use the MBs to charge while you are staying at a Disney owned resort. it is linked to your resort room account so once you move offsite, the charging function no longer applies.
