We went to TL in 2001 but didnt stay for long and we've never been to BB. My son will be 8 this year. Which water park would have more to do for an 8 year old. BTW he's a very small 8 yr old.

My kids are a little younger (4&6) and we took them to TL, which they loved. Have not taken them to BB, but DH and I went b4kids, and it seemed to me the slides were bigger than at TL. I myself like TL because of the wave pool and lazy river (a nice rest).

I have only been to BB (x2) and had a great time! Have never been to TL though...

Never been to BB, because we have so much fun at TL and I keep reading how TL is more lush, shaded and tropical. My dd loves TL and she is 7.

We just returned from a 7 day trip and spent two days at BB with DS 10, 8 and 4. TL was closed but we didn't care because BB was awesome! We sat in a different spot each time, once on the beach near the wave pool and once in the Ski Patrol Training Camp (for ages 12 and under). We took our small guy to Tike's Peak the first day, but after that, he just loved the Training Camp area. We all rode the big raft ride Teamboat Springs and loved it. Our oldest was so proud that he was the only one in the family who did Summit Plummet...we could see him from our seats and that was great. One tip...bring an extra t-shirt for your kids to wear as it helps protect against the friction from the slides. Have fun!

My DD8 likes BB better. She likes the family raft ride and the Ski Patrol Training camp. She did like the snorkeling at TL though. We have done BB twice and are going to TL for the second time in March. They are both great!

Oh goodness guys they both sound great. I still cant decide. I think I will just wait till we get there and let everyone else pick. I do all the planning the least they could do is choose between 2 water parks. Sounds like we wont go wrong with either one. I think I will keep my trap shut but I think Im leaning toward BB. But like I said Im gonna let them pick. LOL

My kids are 3 and 5. We are planning on going to BB. Can the kids wear swimmies or swimming vests? Is this park good for kids who cannot swim well?

My girls have worn swimmies to both. BB and TL both have a great little kid's area. My 2 year old loved the little kid's slides and she even rode the family raft ride.

Our plan right now is to spend one day doing both water parks. We are thinking about doing TL in the morning and then heading over to BB for the afternoon. We have one "extra" day in our schedule so if we really like one, we could go back another day.

golfgal- My DD's love the waterparks so much that they had rather spend a day there than the MK. You will like them both!

BB is better for younger kids. Kids water slides, Teamboat springs, Tikes Peak. TL is better when you're old enough you can get out in the big waves ("the big wave was scary!").

That quote was on one of the Disney promotion tapes they would send you and we watched it so many times getting excited for a trip it was almost as popular as "Please stand clear of the door, por favor.....
