We are going to be ending our Disney Cruise with a stay at "the world" Out of all the many times, I have been to Disney, I have never been to any of the water parks. I was wondering if someone could give me some insight on my plan.

After leaving Port Canaveral we will be traveling to check in at the Beach Club. We wanted to go ahead and check in and then head off to either Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon.

Do you think the park will be too crowded by the time we get there which should be between 10 and 11? We will be leaving the ship on Thursday in the middle of May, the 19th I think to be exact. Do you think we will have trouble getting in a enjoying our day?
How will the crowds be for middle May? We didn't want to use a whole day of Park Hopper passes when we won't get to be there first thing in the morning.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I think you could have trouble getting in, but if you can wait til 3pm, they usually start letting more people in then as everyone else there has had enough and is on their way home.

My husband and I drive in from out of town and usually don't get to the water parks until almost noon and we've never had a problem getting into Typhoon Lagoon at that time. Blizzard Beach on the hand, is almost always closed by then in the summer. Mid-week in May though, I wouldn't think you'd have a problem.

Have fun - you'll love the water parks!

Given the time of year that you are going and the fact you are going during the week, I don't think you should have any problem getting in. Typically the park starts to clear out around 2:00-3:00, and you'll be able to get more water rides done then, should you have to deal with crowds earlier on.

At that time of the year, I don't think either of them open until 10:00 anyway. I agree...that time of year, middle of the week. You shouldn't have a problem. We were there mid May a few years ago and neither of the water parks reached capacity.

Last year i was told that the park was filled to capacity. We told the bus driver that we wanted to go and play mini golf (which we did want to) when we got there - we walked up to the entrance to see and walked right in. Just a little tidbit of info!
