Water Park question

We've never done a water park at WDW. We'll be there in 8 days. Curious about crowds in general at all of the parks, and if one of the water parks is less crowded/better equipped to handle crowds than another.

And...how do you decide which one to go to? TIA!

Hi Kaye--We were in the World 2 yrs ago this week on the original pkg where you had the Hopper feature and admission to all 4 Parks as well as the water parks. I don't really remember why we chose Blizzard Beach over Typhon Lagoon but we really enjoyed it.
However, now that you have to add the water parks to your ticket w/the MYW pkg, I seriously doubt I'd pay more just to go one. I'd probably save the $$ and spend a day at another Park or hanging out at our resort.

With 8 days, you have time to go to a water park...they are a nice change from the parks! We upgraded to the MYW plus waterparks after we got there and ended up going to both parks. We had a great time (and we have very young children) and found it was worth the extra $$. It's all in your perspective!
