Water Park Option

Can someone explain the water park option to me? Say I buy a 7 day park hopper with water parks. I get 7 park admissions and 6 water park visits. If I go to Blizzard beach on one day and then to Epcot in the evening of that very same day, it counts as a water park admission and a park admission, right? That is the way I understood it, but another posting lead me to believe that it would only count as a water park admission. Can someone clarify?

You are correct. Water park admission (Blizzard Beach & Typhoon Lagoon) and park admission (MK, EPCOT, MGM, AK) are tracked separately. If you go to a water park and a park on the same day, you use a "day" for each.
