Never been to either WDW water park. We are considering going on our next trip. We'd probably just spend one day there rather than "park hop". If I look at the cost for a one day admission, it would be about $200 for all four of us. That's about what I'd expect. When I go to
Undercover Tourist and look at the cost for Park Hopper +Water park, it's only an additional $20 per ticket. Not that I'm complaining but that seems crazy when you compare those two cost options.
1. Am I looking at the right info? Is it really only $20 per ticket to add the water park option to a park hopper?
2. If you add the water park option to a park hopper are there any limitations to the water park visit? For ex- can you only go in the afternoon (not spend the whole day there)?
Looking at the Disneyworld website (not including tax):
https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/tickets/
If you have 2-3 park days, then Park Hopper is $50 and the combo Park Hopper+Water Park Fun&More is $90, so $40 add'l.
If you have 4-10 park days, then Park Hopper is $64 and the combo Park Hopper+Water Park Fun&More is $90, so $26 add'l.
From this info, you can interpret your savings by buying from UCT. Add 6.5% tax to Disneyworld prices to compare to UCT prices (where tax is already included).
The combo PH+WPF&M price makes Water Park cost less than purchasing a single day Water Park ticket. With the Water Park Fun&More option, you can visit a choice of 2 water parks (all day), choice of 2 mini golf venues (1 round, start before 4pm), DisneyQuest at DTD, Oak Trail 9-hole golf (1 round), and WWOS (if you have an event there). Each venue is one admission. That means you can't change water parks in one day unless you spend 2 admissions. Same for mini golf. But you can enter-leave-reenter same water park-same day for one admission. Same for DisneyQuest.
You can use WPF&M options on the same day as a park visit, or on a separate day. You can do more than one WPF&M option on one day, ex: Water Park, then DisneyQuest.
Your ticket will have 2 separate parts. Your park visits will be counted as "Park Days," and your WPF&M options will be counted
separately as "WPF&M Entries." The number of WPF&M entries you get equals the number of park days you purchase. When you're using a WPF&M entry, you aren't touching your park visit entitlements.
If your vacation time permits, the WPF&M option is a real bargain addition to your Disney fun.
