Water Park and More Option Question

Say we get a 5 day hopper with WP and more option and used my 5 days without using going to a water park or the other activties. Can I still go to a WP before the 14 day expiration even though I used my 5 days at the parks first?

you can go to a water park a total of 5 times, but the last visit has to be within 14 days of the first time you visits any disney park (theme, or water, does not matter).

edit to add, you don't need to have any more theme park days left.
