Water Park Advice

We did wear those goofy looking water shoes to TL and were glad we did (but what do I know, I wear a fanny pack too :teeth: ). Our feet would have been sore and messed up as much time as we spent in the wave pool. Maybe we just have tender feet but I'll be wearing them again this year although my son has asked for "cooler" looking ones. I'm getting mine from Walmart.

I had a few questions about young kids too. My son is 3. Are the kids allowed to wear life vests down the slides and you be at the bottom? The water parks around here the adult goes then the kid, bottom pool is about 3 feet. Also are their lots of height restrictions? I have a map from both TL and BB but can't seem to get a whole lot of info off of it. Do you have to wear a disney life vest? Are the kids allowed on with you on a ride like the lazy river or something like that. Thanks for any help!

Here is some info on the water parks:

We don't have kids so I can't help much, but I would definitely go to the waterparks with a 3 year old. They have many fun things for young children to do. Disney does a great job of catering to all ages. In the cooler months the water is heated so definitely go if you have some warmer days.

I think you are allowed to wait near the bottom of the slides for your child. You can definitely do the lazy rivers with your child. I can't remember if they let you ride all the tube slides with your child or if you have to ride separately. Some slides have tubes/rafts that hold 2 or more people.

I know you can rent lifejackets for use on all attractions, but I'm not sure if they let you bring your own lifejackets.

Make a thread and ask some questions on the main "Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies" forum because you will get lots of answers from many people there. :thumbsup2

The life jackets are free, but you do have to leave either a credit card or driver's license as a deposit.

Thanks! I'll look through old threads on the theme park boards, I always thought of those for the main 4 only, sure it has been talked about before!
