Water parade?

My sons and I will be staying at BLTs in June for the first time. I really would like them to get to see the water parade(sorry if that's not the correct title). So my question is where should we go to get a good view of it? We have a Lake View booked, will we be able to watch it from our room?

Yes you will see it with a Lake View as long as your room is not facing due north, towards the Magic Kingdom. If it does, you will have plenty of notice of the parade as it floats around Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon for the better part of 90 minutes and is loud enough to be heard in any room at BLT.

We watched it from the sky bridge that connects BLT to the Contemporary. We stood about mid-way across it and had a perfect view. It is a must see, my 6 year-old little boy loved it!!

Here's an screen capture from Google Maps. The Electric Water Pageant is visible from many of the lake view rooms, but not all. It's done somewhere in the area near the green circle I've drawn. (It's more in front of the CR Tower than BLT.) Because of the curvature of BLT, some rooms have great views, some can see a little portion of it, and some can't see it at all. I obviously haven't stayed in each of the rooms in the sections, but ventured a guess at green/yellow/red view based on the angle. Again, those colors are just my guess.

On our most recent stay, we were on the inside of the horseshoe, and if you picture the building as the face of a clock, were right where the 8 would be. We could sure hear the EWP from our patio, but couldn't see any of it.

The best views are from the beaches, CR pool, or the dock. Looking at the aerial view, I can also see how the bridge would be a great location.

We heard it every night when we stayed at BLT. It was really loud, too. We were in the red area that Dave noted.

if you get a room w/o a view of it - just walk over - it starts at 10:10pm.

You can always take a short walk to the boat dock for the best view.

If you are inside the C at BLT, you will become very tired of it after a while.

Enjoy your first time at BLT! We loved watching the water pageant. It's one of the things I missed while we stayed at some of the other resorts.
