Water Mice

I'd like some information on the water mice at the CBR. My DD is 14 and she wants to drive one by herself. How fast do they go? What kind of restrictions does the CBR have and are there any experiences anybody would like to share? I'd like to let her drive on solo and race her so I could finally beat her at something!

Hi there,

We've done the Water mice at the WL which I would recommend. They are fast enough to enjoy but not fast enough to be of any danger and so I wouldnt worry about a 14 year old IMHO. I think they'd be sloooooooow with two people in.

I would however recommend making the trip up to WL rather than doing them at CBR, the reason being that the area to explore in them is huge compared to the CBR, you can get up close to the Poly, GF, MK, Contempory etc etc which makes things more interesting and you can find some nice open parts over near Fort Wilderness to have fun.

They don't go all that fast. The lake is not all that big if you plan to race her also. There are wake restrictions. I would plan to do it elsewhere. When my kids were small they thought they were so fast but they have slowed them down.
