Water mice at CSR?

My SIL told me that her family had a GREAT time with the water mice at the Contemporary, and she said that we MUST plan to make use of them when we stay at Coronado Springs. I have two questions:

1. Since the lake at Coronado Springs is considerably smaller than Bay Lake by the Contemporary, will we still enjoy the water mice?

2. Does Coronado Springs have a "family plan" or a "marina plan" like the Contemporary that allows you to pay one fee and then use the boats all you want?

We used the water mice at CSR during our stay and had fun. Keep in mind they are slower than the ones at CR, Poly, and GF. The marina is smaller but you can still have fun. I'm not sure if they offer the family plan you are referring to, we were last there in 2000 and it was not available then, but it could be now.

You can't compare it to the size lake at the cont but you can look at some of the pictures at my site below.

I'm not sure about your second question, but when Piglet203 and I stayed at the CSR in May/June, we rented the water mice and had a great time. We were a little disappointed with the speed, but we still had fun anyways. The lake isn't as small as it seems. There is plenty of room to fantasize about being the stunt driver you've always wanted to be. Have a great time!

If you really want to do these boats invest the time and go to the GF, CR, Poly, or WL. It is much more fun to ride around on the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake. It will be worth the time you spend getting there. Plus you can walk around whichever resort you go to and maybe have a meal. Make an outing of it. I'm sure the boats are fun at CSR - but there is no where to go and nothing to see.

Thanks for the replies, folks. Now here's another question: My SIL said that there were BIG SIGNS at the Contemporary making it clear that the boats were for the use of Contemporary guests only. Would this be true of other resorts?
