Water Leak

Sure we have a water leak under the house. :scared1:
I rang Anglain water (with whom we have all pipes covered ) to be told that i need to monitor the wet patches for 4 days then give them a call to let them know how if there is any change . :confused3 & :mad:
What do they think i've been doing over the last month ??????:confused:
there has been a wet area below the damp course which has not dried and yesterday noticed that there is two wet areas above the damp course now.
Anglain water seem to think that it's a small leak in the supply pipe, but still want me to monitor it for the 4 days before sending an engineer out.(someone is daft here & i don't think it's me this time ??? :rolleyes1 )
I have been asked to mark the area with chalk to help the engineer pin point the area as well . (think someone is taking the Micheal here):confused:
Will they be asking me to dig the hole next to confirm things :scared:
Has anyone else had this supply pipe problem & do they make much mess:rolleyes:
 
its no wonder our water utility bills are so darn high when they're wasting water like that!
 
The waters not gushing out yet (that i know of) only making the wall damp on an outside kitchen wall,
Still thats not the point really is it, I have took out thier insurance & have paid it every year in full for the last three years so you would think that they might want to take a look as you know when somethings not right, so the first thing you do is keep an eye on it then call someone which i did.
Think Anglain Water better put me on thier payrole cause i'm doing thier job for them :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1
 

I used to work for AW but in the labs but I would definately phone them again and demand they come out tell them you've been monitoring it and you've paid for this service! Good Luck, hope it all gets sorted :thumbsup2

Hi Jo , rang the water company again to complain they got thier contractor in my area to call and earliest they can come out is monday first thing because they are very busy. I explained that i've been monitoring it over the last month so they seem to think that as its been going on so long its ok to wait.
when this is done and dusted i'm going to cancel the insurance with then. :sad2:
I can't be doing with this.:headache:
 
That is poor customer services, with all the money they are making they should employ more people.

I hope it doesn't get worse before they come out.
