Water launch to MGM question?

We are planning to eat at Beaches & Cream on a non-park day and were contemplating strategies to easily get back from there to our resort (ASM.) I had an idea to take the water launch from there over to MGM, and then switch to a resort bus once there. Could anyone tell me where the water launch drops you off? Is it "inside" the MGM park, or is it near the parking lot?

We're trying to avoid using a day on our passes, so going back through the International Gateway at Epcot & catching a bus on the other side is out. But I've never taken this launch to MGM & would appreciate it if someone knows whether this will work.

It drops you by the main entrance. You will have a short walk but you wont have to use your passes.

You can also walk from the Beach and Yacht over to MGM and the pathway leads right to the bus parking. Sometimes walking is even faster than taking the boat... although, maybe you'd like some digestion time after a big sundae.
