water fountains in parks?

Hi! We are heading to Disney Thursday! We are on a tight budget and we have the dining plan. Since we get the refillable mugs, I know we can't use them for sodas in the parks, but are there plenty of water fountains around to use them? I don't want to have pack bottle waters if I don't have to. Thanks!

Yes there are water fountains. You can also get free cups of ice water at any counter serve restaurant (tastes better/colder than the fountains)

We carry our refillable mugs, get the ice water from the restaurant and pour it in the mug. Keeps the water colder longer and it is easier to carry. We each have a small backpack that the mug sits in perfectly when we don't want it in our hand.

There are a couple of really good fountains. I like the one in Innoventions West (by the bathrooms behind the ice cream shop), and the one by the coffee shop at the TTC. For some reason those don't have the Florida taste as bad as some of the others.

We call those "bubblers" here so when you said water fountain I was thinking of the one outside Cinderellas' castle in the back lol There is a bubbler there also and throughout the park. We ordered bottles of water from Garden Grocer but in the past have carried our refillable mugs with us. It gets to be a pain after a bit.

You can also ask for "Courtesy Cups" of water at any of the stands that sell drinks.

Thanks everyone for the replies!! Good to know that we can get ice water and just put it in our mugs!! We usually go to Disney in Dec, so we don't get as thirsty. But being August, I know we will be needing more water throughout the day, and I'd hate wasting a snack credit on it.

"Bubblers"....isn't that funny how different the lingo is in different states? I've never heard that before!

u may want to get 1 water bottle each and just refill it that is easer to carry and u can toss in bag with h2o in it during shows and for rides where the ups u cant u will hae to guzzle or dump! we do that and get crystal light iniv flavors to mask the water taste!
