Water Drinkers Theme Song

OK, this morning after my 3rd glass of water I announced to my 17 yo DD I gotta go potty be right back. (Which is the norm these days what with ALL the water I am drinking.) She promptly starts singing, "My mom has to potty all the time, potty all the time, potty all the time" to the tune of the Eddie Murphy song "My Girl Wants to Party All The Time".

Thanks Eddie and VH1 now my daughter is singing potty songs for me! The support I am getting at home is overwhelming!

That's why my water commitment on Tammy's commitment thread is the potty all the time commitment. When DD12 was 5 or 6, DH convinced her that was actually what Eddie was singing!

I am going to be singing this in my head all the time now!! I too have commited to drinking more water. My goal is to drink 1/2 my body weight in oz everyday, so I am going to the potty all the time!

And my kids do the "gotta go right now" commercial for me all the time...and they are teenagers! they just think it's funny that Mom has to pee all the time.

The "I Gotta Pee" song is by a group called NOFX. You can download it from places on the web. TOO FUNNY!!!!

They have several 'parody' songs, as do The Vandals. My teens love them. One of my favs is My Girlfriend's Dead - not bad, about a guy making up stories cause she dumped him.
