I know others have done this. How is it done? How soon before your trip do you order? Who do I order from? It used to be Staples, but who is delivering out to the resorts now? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!

are you saying Staples is not doing this now?? I used Staples back in April.

I don't think anyone delivers water for free any more like Staples did. You can order from wegoshop or gardengrocer. We just set our delivery time with wegoshop for Dec. (some days for Nov.are already booked solid) We don't have to have our order in until one week before our trip. HTH:)

I ordered water from Costco for our vacation this past June. I ordered online about 5 or 6 days before our arrival and it arrived 1 day before us. Worked wonderfully and only cost about $7.50 for a case of 24.:cheer2:

We used Garden Grocer for our trip last month and it worked great. My only issue was the $40 minimum.

Do you have to be a member of Costco to use that service? I'd like to use a cheaper service for our next trip.

Any suggestions?

I highly recommend garden grocer .com. I had a minor problem when I had it delivered (they ran out of PolandSpring, so they gave us complimentary ZephyrHills water (YUCK!) and we got the Poland Spring next day.) Bell service will deliver it to your room for you. Its really great.

Staples still delivers to the resort, but there is a shipping cost. We just used them last month and I think it was only about 7.00 for each case of water (we got 2) and the delivery/shipping was only around 6.95......so only 21.00+/- for 2 cases of water delivered right to your Disney resort, and bell services brought them to our room for us :goodvibes :goodvibes . I feel this is still a great bargain and there's no memberships or minimum purchases to worry about :yay:

I ordered on-line and they show you the estimated arrival date on your order, and I believe it was only a few days after I placed the order, I know it was less than a week. I included the resort name, my name, my resort arrival date and resort reservation number on the delivery address form so that when it arrives at the resort they know exactly who it's for, and have had no delivery problems. Also be aware that the brand of water you choose may be important, since the Orlando area Staples does not have all the brands shown on-line, so if you are trying to order and it tells you this item is unavailable, just try another acceptable brand (there's a bunch to choose from) and it may solve the problem.

Good luck and have a great trip!!!;)

I looked at Staples and they will deliver for free, but it has to be at least a $50 order.

So do you address the shipment. I'm assuming your name C/O the resort and reservation #, but would like to know for sure.

Also with garden grocer, do you have to be there to pick up the order, or can the front desk take it?

Don't put your reservation # on the delivery address; address to official resort address, and in notes field put "HOLD FOR GUEST "YOUR NAME" ARRIVING MM/DD/YY". When you arrive just tell CM at check-in you should have a package waiting for you and they'll have bell services bring to your room.

You people are aware water is free right out of the tap?

We buy 1 or 2 waters from the general store, then refill from the tap.

Seriously people...tap water is fine.

We were on the DP this last trip and we got an 2 drinks with Breakfast (extra water) then used our snack credit for water and drank water for our drink
at CS and only purchased a very few extra bottles. We did not drink all of our water and had to leave a few bottles at the end of our stay.
This worked out great so if you will be doing the DP you may not need Water
Delivery.

YUCK! have you tried the water in disney its grosssss!

or in florida for that matter!

Do you have to be a member of Costco to use that service?

If you are not a member you can still order from the website but will pay a 5% surcharge (which would be practically nothing given the price of the water you are ordering).

I agree, no problem with the tap water at the resorts we've stayed at. We bring large, empty bottles that have big "mouths" to fill with a mixture of ice cubes & tap water each day.

Well, part of the reason, is DH has a C-PAP machine for sleep apnea and he cannot have tap water in his machine, it will ruin it.

Just be careful about using Office Depot. Our water was refused by one moron and taken back to Office Depot by another moron. And I only say moron because they seem to be the only 2 people who didn't understand that Disney does not refuse shipments as a strict policy. Esp when the guest's name is on the package! :sad2:

I'm still so irked by it since we never got our shipment during 11days. And because the day after we got home, the delivery driver in FL called my house in IN asking if he could deliver the complimentary 'sorry we screwed up' cases of water...to POR for me!

~sigh~

So double check how to address the package and CALL in your order to whatever company you use to make sure it is clearly marked that it is for a guest on site.
