We're going in a couple of weeks, and we plan to have a couple of cases of water delivered to Pop, since we have something against paying $2 a bottle in the parks!!! LOL For those of you who have had deliveries from Costco, WalMart, wherever, did you just go on the Costco or Walmart website to order and then have it sent to Pop? I wouldn't have to do GArden Grocer or anything, since all we need is water, no other groceries. I'm just a tad confused. And I have to get it done soon, since we leave Sept. 6. Thanks!

We've done it two years in a row. I ordered a case of water off the Costco website a few days before our check-in and it was waiting for us when we arrived. (I used the address details located in the FAQ stickied here on this forum.) At the Poly, it was waiting in our room; at the Beach Club, we had to pick it up in the conference center.

Oh good topic! I've never thought of doing this, as we (like you) would only want a couple cases of water. I'm in Canada, and we do have a Costco membership. Will it work in the US? What was the cost of water plus the shipping fee?

I'm not sure what your membership will do for you. Though, with us not being members, we only paid about $0.30 of an upcharge for the water. The total was less than $9 (USD) delivered. :thumbsup2

Oh, can you buy without a membership?? Here it's exclusive. Good to know! We will definitely be doing this! Thanks!!:thumbsup2

Great idea -- silly question, since it will be in the mid 80s (I hope) when I am there in October and I don't feel like carrying 6 bottles of water in my hands -- does Disney allow you to carry water in backpacks or something similar?

I've always carried a back pack. There are security check points at all entrances. So they will shuffle through your bag, see the water and you go on into the parks. :)

Just to have the water back at the resort in the fridge will be nice.

I am wondering....I have a small/medium leather purse backpack that I carry in the parks. Does anyone here have an idea of a foil pack that could fit in there to keep the bottles cold? Like a lunch bag, but flimsier and smaller? Does this make any sense? :goodvibes

Yep.

We'll be at WL on 8/26/12. On 8/18, I ordered two cases of water from Walmart for $8.90 ($3.48 per 24 count case plus $1.94 S/H). I used the address for WL, and included my name and GUEST and the date I arrived (I used the first name / last name area for this). I just checked the tracking provided by Walmart and the water was delivered this afternoon, so that's a 3-day delivery. When I ordered the Walmart website showed an estimated delivery timeframe of between Wednesday and Monday.

Thanks guys! :) I'll have to do some scouting of what one to get.
They don't have problems with you bringing in water to the parks. Done it a few times.

We went to the Bass Pro Shop this weekend and they had a cooler bag that would hold an ice pack thing and a 12 pack. It was very compact. It was like those bags that you can buy at some of the grocery stores to bring your frozen food home. It was very small and might work. I think it was only like $7.00. This is what is was called: Koolit Lifoam® Cooler Bag - Mossy Oak.

I just ordered a case of water from Walmart 2 days ago and it was already delivered to POFQ today. It said it would be delivered 8/24 to 8/29 so it was very quick. It only cost $4.45 shipped too!
