water delivered to hotel - current status?

Last year, I had cases of water delivered to my hotel (from Costco), but I seem to remember reading that I can't do this anymore. I searched the forum, but couldn't find it. Can anyone tell me what the current situation is on this? My DS is playing in a soccer tournament at WWS in Jan & this would be so helpful! TIA.

I had Costco deliver water to WL the first week in Decemeber with no issue.

I used the published hotel address

In June I had two cases of water delivered from COSTCO to the BC. I was charged $20 for delivery. This came as quite a surprise.

Earlier in December I had one case delivered to the POFQ. There was no charge. We even tried to give the CM a tip--she said she was not allowed to accept tips.

I was a little puzzled why one resort would charge and the other would not. Both instances the water was delivered directly to our room.

In 2007 we stayed at the Poly, there was no charge here either. The water was behind the check-in desk.

I think water is $3.50 a bottle--I think it pays for itself. In Dec we had some left over bottles and just gave them to another family. Good luck!

It has been posted in the past that convention hotels charge a $10 fee to aceept/hold packages that are sent by guests. Is BC a convention hotel? We are heading to AKL on January 7 and are getting water delivered from Costco. We did the same in March at Port Orleans Riverside and had no problems at all.

We had water and groceries delivered from garden grocer in September 09 to ASM.
There was no extra charge except for the $12 GG charges to deliver items to a hotel. No charges from Disney.

How far in advance should I order from Costco?

The Costco website says it takes 2-3 days to ship the water. We are ordering it on Monday for our Thursday arrival. In March we ordered on a Tuesday and it was waiting for us when we arrived on a Friday.

We have only gotten water, I would try to search for soda on the website to see if they carry it. I remember one person on another thread did order indivdual bag snacks from Costco.
