Where can I get a water bottle sleeve? I had one which slid over a water bottle. It had a short loop with a snap which I could use to attach it to the outside of my park bag. I'm not particularly concerned with keeping the water bottle cold. I'm more concerned with keeping a sweating water bottle out of my bag.

I think I got one at Target in the past, but the last time I was there they didn't have any more. I didn't see anything on Amazon or at Wal-Mart.

Well, Target, Walmart and K-Mart would be a start.

I have several that I got a promotional giveaways from companies, so poke around and see if your local coffee house, oil change place, sports team is giving them away.

Amazon is where I got mine (well technically I got mine in Alaska at a tourist shop). The second round I got on Amazon. The are great stocking stuffers.

I still use the trick I learned here on disboards. I put each cold/frozen bottle in a sock and it keeps the bottle slightly insulated and soaks up the sweat. Athletic socks are best. I used it again today at an amusement park.

They used to sell them in the parks. I think we paid $10 for one. Not sure how that compares to the ones that they sell in stores though.

I used the Bottle buddy by Built during our recent trip to Europe. They are designed for a baby bottle but work for a water bottle as well. You can zip them closed and they have a snap to allow you to clip it to your bag. I found them at TJMaxx for less than $10. -- Suzanne

If you keep the water bottles at room temperature they don't sweat.

Sometimes I buy a bottled water with lunch in the park, and the bottle is already cold. I don't finish it at lunch, and want to take it with me for the afternoon.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

I would look into buying a hydroflask. They don't sweat and keep water ice cold for 24hrs. We started out with one and now everyone in the family has them. Amazing technology.

I bought a neoprene-ish one at Walmart not too long ago for less than $3. It had the loop and a carbiner clip on it. I can't always find them though when I need them...it seems to be hit or miss. While our Walmart Supercenter didn't have them (they are usually in the sporting goods section), I found them in the hardware aisle at the Walmart Neighborhood Market, lol. Go figure.

Struck out at Walmart, Target, Kmart, TJ Maxx, Five Below, Christmas Tree Shoppe, Party City and Gander Mountain.

Found one at ToysR Us for $5.99, but it's designed for a baby bottle, not a water bottle, so it's pretty small. They had it near the diaper bags.
