Water bottle question

If I carry a water bottle around, will I be able to take that with me on all of the rides? I would rather not have to buy a bunch of them. At Disney it's not a problem, but I know you have to put stuff in a locker for some rides at Universal. Will they allow water bottles?

there are a few rides you will need to use the free lockers for your carry on items.
mummy, hulk, mib are a few of them.

the other rides, no problem.

A locker just seems like a huge unnecessary hassle. I'll either just buy a bunch of bottles or find a place to hide it, maybe.

the reason that you can not have carry ons for a few of the rides is for safety.

any object that you are holding in your hands could slip away and land on the track.

then the ride would be stopped.

if you could put the object in your pocket, then you wouldn't have an issue.

i have seen many wear cargo pants/shorts and place their water bottles and small objects in the pockets when they go on the few rides that have restrictions.

i had a mini umbrella one time and had to put it in my pocket in order to get on the mummy ride.

Wouldn't it be much easier for them to install the same things that Disney has on EE and RnRC on the seats so you can put stuff in them rather than this locker thing? I'm the last person to gush over everything Disney, but it seems like they know what they're doing in this area. Why do they have to make it such an inconveinience?

I'm not saying that as a rhetorical question, I really want to know why they choose to do it that way.

I'm not sure what their official reasoning is behind not installing something like WDW but I have 2 guess. My first guess would be because some of their rides are more intense than WDW and a little bag in front of you wouldn't hold in your stuff. My other guess though is that they want you to pay for a locker. I know the first 45 minutes is free but how many people would just rent a locker and go do all the rides for the day.

Also, I don't like the lockers either. For me I find it hard because I have Type 1 diabetes and if the wait for a ride is really long then there's a chance of my blood sugar dropping, especially in the summer, and without my bag I don't have my meter or my glucose tablets. I've had to step out of lines before because of this and I'm not the type of person that wants to push my way back through to meet up with my husband so we both leave the lines.

I think if the bag on RnRC holds your stuff without falling out, there isn't really any ride where that same bag wouldn't hold your stuff, so doesn't seem a matter of intensity to me.

The free lockers are really convenient...for instance the ones at the Mummy ride are right as you enter and it seem to move really quick both placing and removing your items. You can also enjoy the ride more not worrying about dropping or forgetting to remove your items on the ride.
