water at work issue

Ok this is just crazy
at 11 am they announced that they had broken a water main in the building I work at and if we needed to use the restrooms we would need to hike over to one of the other 2 buildings we have in our complex ( 5- 10 minutes away ) and now they just announced that the cafe' needs to be closed ( which is a given) due to the lack of water but they will be suppling bottled water in the lobby for us to drink just so we will have to use the potty which is soooo far away !!!!!

anyway ! back to work for the time being - I think they should close the building !!! Michelle

Here's an idea....why not utilize all those soon-to-be empty water bottles in the lobby?? It'll save you a trip to the potty in the other buildings. Might be messy, but at least you won't have to walk all that way.

Hello fellow mainers .. we did leave early ! we were having our christmas party at 1 anyway so we packed up around 12:15 ! and if we weren't I think I would have left anyhow..

well right now at 3:55 pm, I have about 2 inches of snow and the wind is whipping around every corner of our house a mile a minute ! I am glad this hit us over the weekend so I can just stay holed up in the house and not have to drive anyplace..

I must finish my christmas decorating !! take care my friends Michelle

Sorry about your water situation, that stinks! A couple of months ago, our building filled with noxious fumes, the boiler evidently 'burped' and it smelled like rotten eggs and smoke. My boss didn't feel safe staying there--members of her family run an oil company, she's heard scary old furnace story for years--so she ordered me home, and left herself. Everyone else on the floor apparently stayed. Ugh! Glad I have a boss who cares about my comfort and health!!

Are you snowed in !!? I just got plowed an hour so ago now the Kiddies are out sweeping off my car and the porches ! Doggie boy is inside were its nice and warm..

I bet all of us have bumped into each other at one point or another! We are snowed in here on the coast and it hasn't really stopped yet, still spitting and blowing. It sure is pretty here in the woods though! Have a great day.
