I read on another thread that someone purchased 1 gallon jugs of water at BLT. The largest I've ever seen was 1 liter. Anyone see the 1 gallon jugs?

Also, the Hess across from PI...is it fairly easy to cross the highway there? We will be at SSR and have no car and will basically only need water.

There is a stop light, walk and don't walk sign and crosswalk to get you across Buena Vista Drive from the Pleasure Island area to the Hess station. No problem.

I'm not sure about the size water sold at the resorts. :confused3

Thanks Robert.

Do you know if Hess has cases of water, like 16oz bottle cases?

Sorry, I have only been to that Hess to buy gas. Have not been inside in many years.

BWV had gallon jugs of water back in April when we were there. They went fast though.

We saw 1 gallon jugs at BLT's market, I can't remember the price though.

Just a suggestion, but have you considered packing a brita filter pitcher? We keep one in our owners locker and use a fresh filter every trip and the water is great.

We were just at BLT the end of June. They have a gallon of Zephyrhills water at their market for about $3.00. I also carry a brita water filter then just keep the jug of water filled all the time.

Sounds like a good idea, however, there are 3 of us and I alone drink A LOT of water. I'm talking 32 to 48 oz. just before work in the morning. So a half gallon pitcher would not suffice.

Do you have the filter for the tap?

I do not, there has been some discussions on whether they fit on all the faucets in different resorts so I use a pitcher. You can take your own brita pitcher or each 1BR is suppose to have some type of water pitcher stocked and just use the holder & filter, but I have found sometimes they are missing. I have always just packed everything in the suitcase and have never had any trouble. I too drink a lot of water at least 40 oz before heading to work and this has worked well for me.

Thanks Robert.

I know the Hess near BWV has cases of water as we get them there for our trips.

But, since you are walking, I did read last year that someone who wanted to do the same walked over with one of their rolling luggage so they could put the water in that and then roll it back, instead of trying to carry a case back to SSR.
