Water areas in parks

We are heading to DW next month. We are all taking our swimsuits but I was wondering whether to pack DDs suit/swimdiapers/watershoes for the parks or just save them for the resort.

I would not want to lug all that to the regular parks. Just a change of clothes if you have a toddler who you think is going to get really wet in a foundation area.:)

We bring two swim diapers and a towel to each park. However, the kids usually only play in the fountains at Epcot and Downtown Disney.

We packed towels, swim diapers, swim trunks and swim shoes for our boys to play in the Donald's Boat water area in MK. However it was about 100 degrees and we planned it to be a refreshing respite from the heat for them. Since you are going in December I wouldn't think your kids will be as interested in the fountains. However it might be worth having a change of clothes just in case. They would probably be uncomfortable and not dry as quickly in cooler weather.
Have a great trip!
