Just doing some research and thought I would share this web page (you need to scroll down a little). It shows the locations of all the bowsers located in Gloucester alone, not to mention the rest of the county, to provide us with water until the supply comes back on....

Bowsers

That reminds me - the cistern in the bathroom needs filling.

Are things getting any better there Matt??, I was watching a lot of it on TV today and it looks devastating in some areas. Hope things are ok as they can be for you:goodvibes

I hope you're managing okay there. :grouphug:

We're going to Cheltenham today for a funeral, so I expect we'll see some of the affected areas at rather closer quarters than we'd choose :(

I think we'll be putting plenty of water in the car with us - do you want us to bring in any supplies for you?!

You should be ok, depending on where the funeral is being held. Most of the main roads are ok now, but some are still flooded.

Thanks for the offer of water, but we are fine. We are managing to get water without too much trouble, there is plenty of bottled stuff around and the bowsers are being kept full - just be nice to have it coming out of the taps!!

Glad you're getting supplies okay. How much water do you need in a margerita anyway? ;)

We saw lots of bowsers today, and many looked as though they had water in them as there were people walking away with their bottles full.

We were only thwarted once by the flooding when we tried to be smart and cut across to the M50. It didn't work  All the other routes we needed were fine. The biggest problem was finding a pub open afterwards - most of them were closed as they had no water supply. We did manage to find one eventually.
