Watching Wishes on the Poly Beach

I'm finding a lot of conflicting information so wanted to get clarification with you guys. We will be staying at the Poly next weekend and I was wondering will I be able to watch Wishes from the beach still? Do they still pipe in the soundtrack?

They did in January. I will say the music where I was standing was very low and hard to hear. Plus, it was very busy that evening and with people talking it made it more difficult to hear it.

I agree with @NYCANC. I was just there in Feb and watched from the beach several nights. I swear the volume keeps getting lower and lower every time I go, it's a real shame. I love everything they did with the renovations at Poly EXCEPT they really screwed this part up, IMHO. But that being said, it's still a lovely view and we watched it from there multiple nights, so it's not THAT bad.

I'd recommend being approximately in the area of the yellow circle below for better sound. There is a speaker in the ground in front of the Hawaii building that is decent. But the trick is getting over to the left enough to see around that first bungalow.
