Is it just me, or are there very few people on the decks and verandas waving? Watching Port Canaveral webcam.

Doesn't early dining start at 5:15? She started sailing just around that time.

55 degrees. I was swimming in the pool on board in that temperature!! Old school cruiser here, the sail away is a big part of the cruiser. But we like the traditional muster drill too.
 

You have to do your muster drill around 4 pm and the Sail Away Party is up on the pool deck afterwards. It’s a new ship so people are probably exploring a bit until dinner at 545 pm.

When I did the Wish over Thanksgiving weekend. I went down to my room after sail away party and waved from my balcony until the ship cleared the port and was in the ocean.
 
It was very late leaving, my pictures taken from Fish Lips of it passing by were at 5:30. It was also very cold and windy. Sailaway party would have been mostly over when it passed the camera.
