Watching the parade from a wheelchair

We are taking my Mom to MK tomorrow to see the 3pm parade. Literally we are going just for that Where is the best spot to park her so she'll have a good view? How soon should we get a spot?

Although not using a wheelchair, we had excellent spots (this past November) at the base of the train station steps on the the side closest to Tony's. The curb in that area runs parallel to the station and then turns up towards main st. Right there in the corner is a good spot. We got there maybe 15-20 minutes prior to the start if the parade.

There are a few reserved spots for wheelchairs.

One is in Liberty Square across from the Hall of Presidents. It's shaded, and a very good spot.
The other is in the hub. This will be in direct sun, but you get the Main Street/castle view.

I would aim for about 2 for both locations

There are designated handicapped seating areas. One is on Main Street and the other is in Frontierland. These areas will be roped off before the parade but we like to be there in place before the ropes even go up.

We prefer Frontierland only because my DH likes to sit down behind my wheelchair and you can do that there in a small area but on Main Street people in your party have to stand behind the wheelchair but I think that area has a better atmosphere with the castle in the background.

We usually go about 45 minutes before the parade.

There is also another WC viewing spot at the hub, facing south down Main Street USA. The castle will be behind you, but you get a nice view as the parade works it's way from the fire station toward Frontierland. When the parade starts in Frontierland like the afternoon parade does, it's not such a great view. Still, it's nice to have a reserved spot (if you get their earlier enough).
