How come it was on later than usual tonight? Did something prempt the programming?

Hi, from Ontario, Canada. I also love that show, I always say NOW I am going to loose the weight, then go get a hot bath and start planning. By the time the next morning rolls around, my plans are out the window. Now is the time of day I have the energy, but who wants to start to exercise NOW. :confused3 Not Me

Its my favorite show  I absolutely cannot miss it.. Did you see Pete tonight ?? :earseek: :earseek: Wow!!! He looks wonderful... I was so sad tonight when Doc stepped up to the plate and said to vote him off because he wanted to give Pete the chance that he deserved.. My mouth hit the floor when they showed the "now" picture.. even his wife looks wonderful.. He looks like a totally different person and so does his wife compared to when they showed her when he walked thru the door.. I am rooting for every one of them..

Well it was an hour and a half show tonight.. basically at the beginning they were told that there would no longer be a red and blue team.. There was 3 women and 5 men left.. they were told that they had to be split up into teams of 2 ... 3 teams of one boy and one girl and then one team of 2 men.. they went into a room and there were plates with lids on them.. if any of them wanted to be the one to decide who was on each team then they had to pick a plate.. but if there was food on it then they had to eat it.. there were 8 plates on the table and 7 of them had food under it and 1 had the power to choose the teams.. Doc and Shannon didnt want to play so they didnt.. the rest put their hand on the plate they wanted.. one by one they took the top off to reveal what was on it.. Pete got the winning plate and he chose the teams.. He paired Andrea with Mark ( I was surprised because he hasnt showed his love too much for her), Matt with Shannon, Suzy with Seth and then himself with Doc... They had the week to work together and lose weight.. The challenge was something weird and I dont think I can explain it well but anywho Suzy and Seth won it.. so they both won a 5 day trip for 2 each to Hawaii after the show is over.. and they got immunity.. they couldnt be voted off.. at the weigh in each team weighed in and I believe they factored % of fat or something like that (someone please correct me if wrong :teeth: ) so then the team who lost the least amount of % was to be voted on by the other teams and one of those had to be voted off.. Each team could only give one vote, so it was decided among the 2 people.. Doc and Pete lost the least so one of them had to be voted off.. Ironically if Suzy and Seth hadnt been given immunity it would have been them.. she only lost 6 pounds (can you believe I just said only :earseek: I would love to lose 6 pounds in a week!) and he didnt lose anything.. But again back to the story.. either Pete or Doc had to be voted off.. It was so sad.. because I have been cheering for them all and I feel like they are part of my family :cloud9: If it was myself I would have voted Pete off too because I believe he had a better chance of losing the weight than Doc because of docs ankle and stuff.. even though they have gotten close they are still having to play the game.. it was very emotional.. Mark started crying because he didnt want to do it.. Doc even asked them the day before to vote him off.. he didnt want to go, but he felt that he could do it on his own at home and he wanted Pete to succeed.. he said that when Pete made the teams he could have easily picked someone else that he knew would help him win, but he stuck by Docs side and he was very emotional about it and felt bad when Pete was voted off.. Another sad part was that Matts uncle died during that week from a heart attack and he was young.. he got emotional that day but stayed because he said his family wanted him to and his uncle would have wanted him to stay.. There was some tension especially in the beginning between the men and the women.. but once they were put on teams together they seemed to start getting along really well..

They showed Pete leaving and going home to his wife.. He walked thru the door.. she was so excited to finally see him.. He said that he was ready to start a family and they wanted children.. They then showed him and his wife now and he is HOT!! He was down to around 260 or something like that.. Totally looked like a new person.. His wife had lost 50 pounds since he came home I thought she said and she looked wonderful.. He is totally unrecognizable..

Wait till you see him at the final weighin.. You will be surprised..

Whew... well I hope I recapped it well.. I certainly tried to remember all the drama

Waiting till Tuesday gets me through Monday.. because I know my show will be on.. I wished they would play the whole show in one day.. Id make sure I had that day off work and Id sit in front of the tv with popcorn and a coke.. :goodvibes

As another poster said...the now picture of Pete...OH MY GOSH! He looked absolutely amazing. I love this show and to see what it does, and how it changes peoples lifestyles is great. He looked like a completely different person, and seemed so happy. I wish everyone could stay on though until they got to their goal.

When they showed Pete now, I almost fell off my chair. I actually thought they were a older couple but they were really young. I thought Pete did a great job on selecting the teams and he put everyone else before his self.

Doc is just someone who is to be admired for his unselfishnes also. I really wanted both of those guys to stay and I really hope Doc goes all the way but from the commercials I think maybe not. They said a beloved memember would be leaving next week.

I didn't really Mark until last night, he seemed like such a jerk. Last night he really showed emotions and I hope that he continues down that path.

Such an emotional show, glad they reran the first "My name is Earl" again, that made me laugh as much this time as it did the first.

You did good.
One thing I am really impressed with regarding this show is that the people's lives are changed. The ones who are sent home continue to do well and everyone seems (at least most of the time) to really care about the other players. They want the others to be successful (they just want to be a bit more successful themselves so they can stay.

Pete looked damn good, didn't he?? :earseek: :earseek: When they showed him hitting a turn around jumper playing basketball, I couldn't believe it was the same dude!! I mean, I don't think he could have gotten an inch off the ground when he first got to the ranch and now he looks like he could be in the NBA (well, maybe not that good ;) )

Love this show and was so impressed by Pete and Doc! They are such genuine people. Can't believe how much weight Pete lost, he looks amazing. They said to date he's lost 137 pounds. WOW!!

At the weigh in you can really see the differences in their before and afters, everyone is looking great.

I LOVE this show. Pete looks amazing - I really liked him and I was sorry to see him go. Actually, I like all of these people. It's a great show. Very inspiring for those of us who could use to lose a few :teeth:
