Anyone have any suggestions for where we can reliably watch college football games in WDW OTHER than ESPN club?

Splittsville in Disney springs is a good option as well. ESPN gets so crowded.

I was thinking about catching the LSU/UT game on 11/18 at ESPN, but of course we have no idea what time the kickoff is. That's our first Epcot day, so if it's 2:30 guess we have to miss it!

If things go as planned, we will be there this Saturday for LSU/Miss State. We have watched countless at ESPN in the past, but it's always such a hassle. Game is at 7 so was hoping to maybe slip into somewhere less busy in DS that night.

Most of the resort lounges will have TVs with the games on. I'm sure the bartender or server will be happy to find whatever game you'd like. I watched part of the 2009 Fiesta Bowl at the Territory Lounge at Wilderness Lodge.

Just be aware they don't show everything in your room, even SEC games.
I was there last year and while now I'm glad I didn't watch I wanted to try and watch UT/Vandy and it was not on. I caught pieces of it streaming on my phone but it was not aired on the resort room TV
We rather enjoy watching games at ESPN though. We've done it many times, last was the day after Matthew hit last year, watched UT/A&M

That's true. I forgot about that especially with SEC network & all of that now. It says it'll be on ESPN so I'm assuming that should be available pretty much anywhere though, right?

Maybe. Even ESPN has National and regional broadcasts. That's why they have Alternate channels on some systems.
I'd assume LSU/Miss State would be national, or aired at Disney at least. But, you know what they say when you assume.....
Still, Splitsville will have it so you won't be limited to ESPN Club.
I suspect Big River will have it on too.

Ok good! Thanks for the info!

check out the conference's streaming sites. Big ten has BTNGO your's should have something like that

For Disney Springs, besides Splitsville,The Lava Lounge at Rainforest Cafe and Dockside Bar at The Boathouse are cool spots to watch games(of course, some games will only be available at Splitsville).:)

How early would one have to arrive before kickoff to find a table at a place like the ESPN Club or Splittsville?

The Boathouse is exactly what I was thinking, but then I also wasn't sure if they'd have it.

It varies greatly at ESPN, based on the game.
NFL Sunday is packed. College days seem much less so.
At one time they offered a Premium seating option, which we've done each time. But last year they told us they were phasing it out and they did no longer advertise it. You have to know it existed and call for it. No idea what it's status is now.

Not sure about Splittsville. it's so much larger I suspect it's not an issue there

Other than your room or ESPN Club, you will need to ask ahead of time if they will be showing your game. The smaller places tend to put on the most popular games. For me, it is ESPN Club or my hotel room. Too much of a hassle elsewhere.

So Splittsville would be a viable option to catch an NFL game that wouldn't be televised on tv? I really don't want to brave the crowds at ESPN and was hoping to not have to find a sports bar off site.

I think it has NFL Sunday ticket. If someone else can't confirm you could always call them and ask. If they do, they'll have them all. If they don't, they won't. No other way to air all games but that
