Watching fireworks from Disneyland Hotel

It looks like our arrival day will be the only day of our trip with fireworks. We contemplated adding a day onto our tickets so we could head over after dinner to watch them but decided against it (mainly because this is our first trip to Disneyland and we just feel like it would spoil the magical experience of walking into the park for the first time if we're just there to see the fireworks).

Anywho, we're having dinner at Steakhouse 55 that night and staying at Disneyland Hotel. Any chance there's a place there where we can view the fireworks? Bonus points if they pipe in the music.

At the DLH no good place, unless you get a room facing the parking lot.

You could watch from just past RFC, the Esplanade between the parks, or a better view, walk through DTD get on a parking tram and got to the top floor of the Mickey and Friends garage. Unfortunately you won't hear the music.

You could go to the PPH, and on the 3rd floor where the pool is go to the end of the deck/patio. The music will be played there, though it's not real close.


Really in my opinion, I would add day and visit the parks. Even if only for a couple rides and the fireworks.
