They Will Both Be In The Play Offs While We Are In The World And Of Coarse Dbf Must Watch Them, Planning On Going To Espn Club To Watch The Games, But How Early Should We Get Their...i Know They Say And Hour Before Monday Night Football Or The Superbowl But I Was Wondering If Basketball And Hockey Would Be Different???please Help Me! I Hate Planning My Trip Around Sports Grrrr

I am sure that basketball and hockey playoffs do not generate the same crowds as MNF and the Superbowl do. You should be fine arriving a short time before the starting time of the games.

(Oh, and get used to planning your trips around sports or get a new boyfriend, because this one is unlikely to change.)

It won't be as difficult for these games. I'm assuming you are going fairly soon and it's the first round of the playoffs? If it were the Stanley Cup finals it would be different and the same with the finals of basketball. I'd still use the one hour thing as a guide, though. You'll want to be seated and have your food order done before the game starts. Then you can relax for the game itself.

And there is nothing wrong with planning a trip around sports. This will be the second trip in a row where we've made getting back to the room by 8:00 a priority to watch the NASCAR race. My choice and I'm a female.

lol ya i know i am used to my whole life revovling around sports so why did i think disneyworld would be any different:confused3

I've had to plan Christmas lunches and dinners around Bronco games, so I completely understand.

I'm sure the BB might not be a problem but I remember being a WDW a few years ago and wanting to know how Toronto Maple Leafs were doing (I know they don't make the playoff too often - so no jokes!!) We couldn't find hockey news anywhere. I remember being in Epcot and there being a wall of TVs with the hockey game on one. I swear every Canadian was standing watching the game and complaining about not knowing what was going on with any of the series. Epcot staff eventually made us move on as the park was closing.

And getting the Orlando Sentinal the next day doesn't really help either. Hockey is their lowest priority if they even print the final scores.
