Watching a TV taping in So. CA

We are going to be visiting some friends in San Diego March 30-April 6. Of course one of our activities will be a trip to DL. We are also wondering how to get tickets to see a taping of a TV show.

Anyone done this? Can you offer any tips? Is there a website to find this info? We will have 2 teens with us, ages 14 & 17 so we want a show they'll be able to come to.

Tapings are usually done in the Hollywood, Burbank, and Culver City areas. That could be 3+ hours from San Diego depending upon traffic.

If there is not a specific show you are wanting and just a desire to see anything that might be in production, I would search online for a company called Audiences Unlimited. They handle tickets for lots of tapings.

Your choices will be somewhat limited as many shows require audience members are at least 18.
