Watched a new cop series while we were away

A brilliant new cop series just started in the USA. They called it The Shield, very hard hitting makes NYPD BLUE look like playschool.I do hope it gets to air in the UK. The bad guy is detective Vic Mackey the of the elite Strike Team unit. It's shown on XFX in the States, here's a link to it.
