Watch your MYW dining credits!

Just got back yesterday and wanted to give this heads up tip to those dining with children under 3.

Be sure they are taking away the correct number of dining credits at your table service meal. As long as you don't order off the menu for your child under 3 (except for a drink-pop, lemonade and the like) they should not be deducting a credit for the child. I had this happen at both Chef Mickey's and Cape May Cafe. If I hadn't been paying attention to the number of credits we had remaining (it's at the bottom of your receipt) we would've been shorted two meals. Both times I noticed it after getting back to the hotel and guest services took care of it. HTH you future travelers.

So, they do show you on the receipt what's remaining?? I was wondering how would we know if we were "charged" correctly.

Thanks for the tip! Our son will be 2.5 during our trip so I'll make sure to check to see if he's charges for buffets/all-you-can-eat meals.

Yep it's near the bottom. It will say "4 table service credits remaining". Just keep track of it after each meal and you shouldn't have a problem.

I agree. This happened to me twice as well. The 1st time was our 1st night and my husband signed for it and I didn't notice until I got back to the hotel. They corrected it for me but gave me a hard time, as if I was lying to them. I said I would go back to the restaurant if I had to and she continued to be snotty and then got a manager to take care of it. He said though you are supposed to only grab a plate for those 2 and under and then take the food from your plate. Anyhow, I made sure I did that the rest of the trip and still had it happen again doing it the "politically correct" way!
