As much as I would like to some day work at Disney, I know this won't be a reality b/c the pay is soooo low. What are your thoughts?

That makes me sad....

I know that in previous years, we never saw a CM in costume outside of the World....and now we see them everywhere.
And probably related to some kind of cutback.

Kudos to CMs that continue to make it magical....

I know- I watched it and I felt really bad for the people. They really are the ones that make the place magical and they are paid soooo low! I don't know how they survive!

Sadly this isn't just a Disney issue. I would say MANY corporations treat their employees this way, and it's not just a US issue. It's sad but I see the same thing on a different scale happening even in my own company - pushing for revenues, increases to insurance, minimal (if any) raises, etc. Sadly, these days they do not care about "the people", it has become the norm to only care about the bottom line. People are a number, replaceable, or at least that's the way many corporations run their business.
