watch parade at Ak then a fast exit?

what is the best place to do this...first assumed by the path to the oasis but see that is way at the end and need to get to trails end for dinner before wishes and spectro at 6/7 so now wondering if it would be by the bridge and see it right before it makes the turn to asia but having not done that do not know how crowded it would be there( Dec, early). got trapped by safari last time and barely escaped with my life due to having to cut in front of crazed parade followers to get out of the middle of them which i do not want to happen again

From DAK to Trails End back to MK? That seems like a lot of running around, IMO. I would either find a place at DAK to eat or a place at MK, particularly if you're trying to see the DAK parade, eat and then still make it to MK by 6pm. But ... that's just me.

I would think that your best bet would be to see the parade where it begins, not half-way through. Catch the parade at Harambe and then after it all passes you, just head out of the park on the side opposite the parade route. If you wait to watch it in Asia, you're waiting for the parade AND getting stuck in the wake of a bunch of people at Asia.

we have only seen the ak parade once but when we went ( were right where it starts)at least 70 % of the crowd followed after it and we could not get out of it till we got to the bridge to jDiscovery island so i assume it would be very congested if you go through asia as you are basiclaly just following it the whole way...that is why i wondered if we see it BEFORE it got to asia ( by the african bridge to discovery island ) if it is very crowded with people waiting to see it so that we would have a hard time getting across the bridge and out of the park before it got to the Oasis/DI bridge.
