Watch out Atlanta...here we come!

Its the day my dd (Dancergirl) has been waiting for.. Dome Day. Tonight the Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets will be playing in the Georgia Dome in the state AAAA Semi-finals. My dh, Mom and I will be on our way in just a little while to drive 5 hours for a football game. No really, its an honor to make it that far. Our band will board the "Cheese Wagons" aka school busses at around 9 for that wonderful 5 hr trip up.
In the college ranks.. Our oldest dd (**Steph**) is traveling to Florence, Alabama for the Division 2 National Championship game. This is the first time in school history to make it this far. The Valdosta State Blazer Band will perform at halftime. Look for her..shes a piccolo player. The game will be broadcast on ESPN Saturday night.
Its an exciting and busy weekend for our family. Guess I'd better hurry and get finished packing. We leave in 30 mins. Have a great weekend everyone.

Hey, do you live in Thomasville, Snuggles? When I went to WDW the first time when I wa 14, I went with our marching band. We stopped in Thomasville on the way down. Nice town. A friend of my brother's lives there.

Enjoy your weekend, Ann! You're doing something I hardly EVER do anymore, spend a weekend in Atlanta!! We spend every weekend in Tennessee with my Dad!
