I know this is a long shot, but here goes . . .
A few years ago in the Vineland outlet store I bought a beautiful watch from Shanghai Disneyland, being sold at closeout. I peeled a label on the steel cannister it came in, and underneath was the price tag from Shanghai, which worked out to the equivalent almost $100 US. The Disney outlet store charged $15!
A year or so later the battery died. I tried to remove the back, which is a press-on type. I couldn't do it. I recently purchased and used proper watch repair tools. Still can't do it.
It occurred to me that maybe there is a defect, and the back just can't be removed (even though instructions are included as to how to change the battery).
So I'm taking a long shot here to see if anyone else bought this watch and has had the same problem.
