So made s reservation for OKW in Oct/Nov with one day on the front end at AoA. This arrives today. Poly bag on the right AOA, fancy box on the left OKW. Glad I'm not paying for this with my dues. #wasteful

I too was shocked by the box we got a couple days ago for a stay - like the one on the right. We've gotten that box before and at least it had a flash drive but those must be gone yet they still continue to send out the box. The booklet was the same as what we've also gotten in just an envelope which I also consider to be excessive.

DS was pretty insightful when I got the box recently; he knows they aren't sending out the drives anymore, but they seem to be using up the boxes for them. Better than going totally unused, we figure. If you take the paper with Edna Mode on it out, you'll likely see the foam with the drive cutout underneath.

I use the boxes. They are cute and sturdy.

I've been trying to use the MB boxes, too. But they are both too large and too small, and so they remain in our "should we recycle it?" area.

Yes I know all about the extra flyers they mail. These are for this year already. I have a lot of reservations and some have changed as I've put together some reservation via the RAT. Day by day. Plus reservations for my daughter and her family.

I just received two big boxes for our magic bands. Another big waste. One night at Poly...one set of bands. Remaining nights at BWV...another set of bands. I am too afraid to tell them not to send the second set....because I'm afraid they won't work or something. This really cracks me up....they are "saving the environment" by not doing the printed resort parking passes.....but continue to send out big boxes for magic bands and duplicate "stuff".

I wish we could just check a box that says "I'm happy to re-use my magic bands from my last trip" and another that says "I don't need the Incredible Vacation brochure". When we got yet another Incredible Vacation box in the mail last week, my wife said "You'd think they'd consult a database to see if they sent us that package this year already!".

We haven't had any problems since last fall. My kids have a few decorated bands from 2013 and early 2014 that they use most of the time. Worst case is that they have to "reset" your band at check-in.

We love the vacation books. My kids cut out pictures for their art project, stuff under a short table leg, and various other crafting uses. We also love the MB boxes. I store all the little toys in them. One holds all our MBs.

That's a good idea. When my daughter was young, we had a shoebox full of small Barbies and McDonald's toys for car trips.
Boys toys would fit in MB band boxes great!
