DH and I will be taking a short trip to DC in a few weeks (Nov 7-11) and I am looking for the advice of others who have been.

I have a plan of what we are going to do. We have already picked out the museums we wish to see. I am mainly looking for a review of any of the hop-on-hop-off tours of DC. We are looking at purchasing tickets for the DC trolley tours and would like to hear from others who have taken this tour. Was it a good tour? Was there ever a time when you were left waiting for a long period of time for the next buses. Or if anybody has taken a hop-on-hop-off tour did you enjoy it and what line did you use. There are so many tours to choose from.

I am also looking form recommendations for some interesting restaurants to go to while in DC. Looking for some exotic cuisine. Once again I welcome the advice of prior visitors and Locals. DH and I will be at the Days Inn on Conneticut avenue. Thanks!

We did Sunday brunch a couple of weeks ago at the Mansion on O Street which was really interesting. Kind of pricey, but the buffet is spread out into 3 separate rooms and you are allowed to tour the "mansion" which is really a bunch of townhouses decorated differently in every room and secret passages, etc. Definitely fun if you're into that sort of thing.
