There was a long shot from a helicopter or plane toward the last 15 minutes or so of that episode. It showed a really huge-looking dark colored resort on the water with a smaller, white resort to one side and an empty lot on the other. It was right after a commercial break, and right before that break the show had a scrawl on the bottom that said the action was at a harbor in Ko Olina.

I've seen pictures of the area posted on these boards, but from ground level.

This shot from the show really made Aulani look impressive, if I'm right about it being the resort being shown. It made some sense given the white Marriott on one side and the building area for another resort on the other.

I just thought if I'm right, it was pretty neat seeing the resort from that perspective, and wondered if anyone else saw it and had an idea if my guess was correct.

I read on another discussion board that it was. I had already deleted that episode, so I went to the internet and went back thru the show. It sure looked like it to me, but since I haven't been in person, I couldn't swear by it. Good catch.

In the episode they said they were going to Ko Olina marina. I wondered if I were seeing a construction wall in one shot.

The Ko'olina Marina (I watched them shoot that part!!!) is at the last lagoon, #4. Next to is a Marriot timeshare. I think I do recall them showing Aulani briefly. But the marina is not next to it.

The order of buildings are Paradise Cove Luau, then the Marriot hotel, then Aulani, then wedding chapel and empty lot, then condo building (marriot?) then Marriot timeshare then the marina. I think I'm recalling that correctly.

You are correct...except the condos next to Marriott Beach Club Villas are not Marriott. They are privately owned.
