There are no BOG for my 6 days in Oct. We arrive on the 15th (party night) and there were NO ressies for 2 that entire week we are there. There are 4 MNSSHP that week so is that the issue????

MNSSHP is a big part of it. So too are people making "extra" BOG ADRs due to anticipated FD dropping next week. I found the same thing when I checked for the end of Sept a week or so ago. No BOG dinner ADRs available at all. I did find lunch ADRs. Have you signed up with Touring Plans ADR finder? It's free & will notify you when an ADR comes up.

Sign up for Touring Plans ADR finder. There were no BOG dinner reservations initially for me and my mom's trip in February. Signed up and about a week and a half out one popped up exactly on the day I wanted for the time window I wanted. I tested and could have actually booked one the day before and the day after too because both also came up.

dining is down now, so maybe that was part of it

For me, it showed me times were available, but for every restaurant it would go to an error page that said service unavailable. Not even Stitch or Donald to make it cute, just a straight up error page. Sometimes I'd get as far as entering guests, sometimes to the payment page.

But yes, try Touring Plans like the others have said. It has worked well for me in my May planning!

Editing to add...I finally got a few using Safari, but it was much harder than I've ever experienced before. Will be using Touring Plans to get my preferred Ohana time, and not the random times it was spitting out at me this morning!

Good luck to you! I'm sure BOG will pop up.

Hopefully FD will not be offered in October and ADRs will open up. We will be there last two weeks of October. The only three ADRs I want to make are Tiffins for a ROL dinner package, BOG on a non party night, and California Grill on a party night. Right now it seems only bog will be an issue.

This happened to us last year when I was booking our ADRS. I set up a finder in Touring Plans and when I got the notification and booked it, there were tons of times available - I think they hadn't opened them all up yet at my 180.

I've read on this board that people are literally hoarding three BOG ADRs per day for every day of their trip until FD is released (they hope) - then once they figure out what they're doing, they'll cancel.

There should be some type of rule that you can't book the hard to get restaurants more than 2 times a week or something.

This would be hard to police, and is sort of what comes from ADRs being booked so far out.

I don't "hoard" a ton of reservations, but I am holding on to two extras (over an eight day stay) until I see hours and make my FPs.

So I should check back around 60 day mark when I make FP's??

Is there a problem with the website? When I look at dates for dining, and click on the calendar, the months are in a language other than English. I've never seen that before.

Well that is nuts. LOL I have not heard of that one yet. Crazy!!!

Yes. If you haven't called Disney Dining, try that now. Check frequently for the next few days...often there are computer glitches and people change their minds. If that's a no-go, try a free reservation finder and then check at 60 day, 45 days, 30 days, and/or the week leading up to your trip.

WHY?
- BOG is the hardest ADR to get at any time
- Anticipation of Free Dining cause folks to fully book their time frame.
- By fully book that may mean multiple bookings at BOG.
- They do this with the +10 ability.
- MNSSHP is a huge hit to availability.
- Party nights close bookings to day guests after around 6-6:15 pm.
- Party goers def want to book the early dinner so not to waste party time.
- With reduced dinner time, many will book up the breakfast & lunch.

WHAT to do?
- Call Dining to see if there is something they see if system is wonky.
- Check after Free Dining dates are out, some may cancel if Oct is blocked out.
- Check constantly at all different times, it's fluid.
- Check regularly from 60 day on as folks book their FP+ and change plans.
- Join TP for their alert system (I have never done it)
- Never give up as folks change their plans all the time.
- 5-6 times I have cancelled dinner the week of.
- I have picked up lunch the week before.
- I have changed my time the week of.

My friend and I (different reservations ) cannot get the plus 10 to work. We each only get the number of nights on our reservation, so she got 7. I get 4 on my computer, and 5 on my iPhone. I will call about that, I wanted to make one more. (I thought plus 10 meant 10 days form checkin day?)

This week was my week also and this is the very 1st time I couldn't get BOG. I started at exactly 6am and this was
the 1st one I went for. We are so disappointed as it is one of our favs! I haven't gave up yet.

When people say "180 + 10" they always leave out that it's really "180 + 10, up to your length of stay". So, the +10 is working for you as it should if you are only able to reserve up to your checkout day. Unless I am misunderstanding your post.

Thanks for the clarification on the +10. I have a split stay, so it is only letting me book for the first reservation. So I can probably pick up that last one in a couple of days. Hopefully. I lost my Sci Fi last October, so I am a bit frantic about it.

One that I always struggle with is a silly one, Plaza at MK. The last few trips, I could not get anytime except 11:20. Why is this location "in demand", it seems so odd, not to be able to book it at 180 days +.
