DD and I went to DTD tonight for dinner at the Earl of Sandwich. We had parked on the West Side. While walking back toward our car, I noticed two boys (looked like early college age) fee climbing the outside of the building for the new T-Rex restaurant. For those who haven't seen it, it looks like a mountain surrounded by a rainforest. They were scaling the fake rocks. Both of the young men were a good way up the side of the building. I have no idea why they were doing this. Maybe to reach the summit. Who knows?

Anyway, we continued walking and ran into a security CM. I told him about the boys. He said he would take care of it.

DD doesn't think I should have told on them. After all, they were just having fun. I told her that as a cast member, I felt it was my duty to report something that I thought could endanger a guest.

So, was I right to report them or just a wet blanket?

You were right, especially as a CM. If they fall Disney gets sued.

I would have done it, and I am not a cast member. They could have gotten hurt, or hurt someone else.

You absolutely did the right thing. I would have done the same.

I think you did the right thing. Too many times people turn the other way and think they should just mind their own business, rather than look out for a stranger's well-being.

Even if you were not a CM-you did the right thing.

Someone could have been hurt. Something could have gotten broken. Something that got broken could have hurt someone else.

And Disney (not the boys) is the one who would have been held responsible.

And being a CM-you definately did the right thing.:) (You got a smiley face. I didn't have a gold star or a check ++)

You did the right thing. If one of them were to get hurt, they would sue and win because no one stopped them. In this world, stupidity pays.

You were right Peggy. I would've done the same thing. Good grief, what were those boys thinking?!

(I wanted to let you know that next weekend we plan on putting up our Christmas decorations...they're still packed away now. I can't wait to put up the Disney-themed tree that you set out for us at AKV last December. I'm so excited to see it again!! Happy holidays!:santa: )

Tell Kendall she should be grateful you didn't march over to the building and shout "Boys! Come down from there right now before someone gets hurt!" ;) I would have told security, too. After I shouted at the boys to get down. :rolleyes1

You were absolutely right! Someone could have been hurt.

You were right for saving someone's idiots sons!:headache: Sometimes boys have no clue!

My mother (a CM) would have embrassed me and told them to get down right then =)

I think you absolutely did the right thing, and I would have done the same.

Definity right thing to do. If they fell it could have been a disaster for them and Disney.

Peg, you did the right thing! If those goofballs had been drinking or just clumsy and fallen, I predict a lawsuit would have followed.

OT: We ate at TRex on Tuesday and the food was delicious-not Commander's Palace but better than most WDW food. Our waiter's name was Sean and he was the best.
