I think you were totally right when you sent the food back. You also should have spoken to a manager after the meal and maybe tell them of your experience so they can instruct their staff better.

LOL!! I think you were fine. Altho I don't know if the servers had ever heard that request before...
Our experience was rush rush rush and then when we were done with the entree we had to wait a good 10min before the dessert. And another 15 mins after we were done with dessert for the bill... LOL!!!
I guess she didn't care to be paid at all.
