I am trying to be very frugral this year to put aside $$ for our December trip etc.
Well of course, I'm checking out Disney online yesterday and the snowglobe I have wanted for about 4 years is now marked down $30 to $90. (the double one with all of the characters from the parks). I also see a Pooh one I have wanted for a while too, marked down to $38.
My SO (who I live and split all the bills with) kept saying, get it, you deserve it, it's not that much in the long scheme of things (and told me to get the beanbag of Piglet in a teacup too, since he's heard me talking about that for a while, and the Lady & the tramp shirt marked down to $9.99).
I did just wipe out 4 credit cards and cancel them, meaning now I only have one credit card with any outstanding balance on it and he really thinks I deserved to get these things I have wanted for so long. ( I rarely buy anything for myself...the balance on my cc is mostly due to emergency situations).
Please, somebody, tell me I am not a bad person for spending $150 on myself for things I don't "need".
